Create a Peaceful Home

Is there are lot of chaos and fighting in your home? Negative energy and regular arguments and fighting in a home will often lead to more negative energy building up and causing more fighting as well as bad luck streaks in the home (e.g., things breaking, people getting sick and even spiritual attacks).

Creating a peaceful home using magic involves a combination of intention, energy work, and the use of specific tools or rituals. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Cleanse Your Space: This is the first step in any magical work. This will help to clear out any negative energy. Here is my blog post on ways to cleanse your home. You can also use sound (like a bell or singing bowl) or a cleansing spray made with essential oils.

2. Set Your Intention: Decide what kind of energy you want in your home. Do you want it to be a place of peace, love, creativity, abundance? Once you've decided, state your intention out loud. You can say something like, "I cleanse this space and fill it with peace and love."

3. Use Symbols and Sigils: Symbols and sigils are powerful tools in magic. You can create your own or use traditional ones. Draw them on paper and place them around your home, or even paint them on the walls. I use a rune for protection on my front door by using a protection oil to draw it onto the door itself.

4. Use Crystals: Crystals can help to maintain the energy in your home. Rose quartz promotes love and harmony, amethyst promotes peace and spiritual growth, and black tourmaline protects against negative energy. Place them around your home, especially in areas where you spend a lot of time.

5. Create a Sacred Space: This could be an altar, a meditation corner, or any space where you can focus your energy and intention. You can use this space to place offerings to the Spirits of the Land you live on and the Spirits of the Place you live in while thanking them for allowing you to live alongside them in peace and prosperity.

6. Decluttering your home can indeed bring peace and harmony.

7. Breathe your intention of a peaceful home into a candle and burn for 15 minutes each day.

Herbs to bring peace into a home:

There are several herbs that are traditionally associated with peace, calm, and tranquility. Here are a few:

1. Lavender: Known for its calming properties, lavender can help reduce anxiety and promote a sense of peace and relaxation. Use a lavender spray in your home when things may be getting tense by spraying in the room like an air freshener.

2. Chamomile: This herb is often used in teas to promote sleep and relaxation. You can use a cup of this tea to sprinkle around the home (or put in a spray bottle to disperse) or add it to cleaning water when cleaning the home.

3. Lemon Balm: This herb has a calming effect and is often used to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep, and improve mood. Add a little dried lemon balm to an ounce of almond oil and use to anoint the doorways throughout your home so people pick up the peaceful energy when they walk through them.

4. Basil: Keep a basil plant in your home to create peace and feelings of love between household members.
