Clarifying Your Goals with the Snow Moon

The Snow Moon is the traditional name for the full moon that occurs in February. In various cultures, the Snow Moon signifies the midwinter period when snowfall is typically at its heaviest. It is a time for introspection, renewal, and purification. The energy of the Snow Moon can be used for releasing old patterns, letting go of what no longer serves you, and preparing for new beginnings as the winter season transitions into spring. It is a time to focus on inner growth, healing, and setting intentions for the future.

I think this is the perfect time to sit down with the ideas and desires you have found over the last few months for the future and really get clear on what you want to manifest this Spring and Summer. I am a big believer in writing out my goals rather than keeping them in my head where they can get fuzzy and unfocused. Here are some practical suggestions for doing this and the coming Snow Moon on Saturday has great energy to support this task.

1. Define Your Goals: Clearly define what you want to achieve. Make sure your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART).

2. Break Down Your Goals: Divide your goals into smaller, manageable tasks or milestones. This will make it easier to track your progress and stay focused.

3. Create a Plan: Develop a detailed plan outlining the steps you need to take to achieve your goals. Break down the tasks into actionable steps and allocate timeframes for each.

4. Stay Organized: Keep track of your goals, tasks, and progress by using tools like to-do lists, calendars, or goal-tracking apps. I also recommend using a VISION BOARD. This will help you stay organized and focused.

5. Set Priorities: Prioritize your tasks based on their importance and urgency. Focus on high-priority tasks that align with your goals to ensure progress.

6. Stay Committed: Stay committed to your goals and be consistent in working towards them. Avoid distractions and stay focused on the tasks at hand.

7. Review and Adjust: Regularly review your progress towards your goals and adjust your plan if needed. Be flexible and open to making changes to stay on track. Each waning moon phase from a few days after the full moon to the few days before the new moon is a good time to do this each month.

8. Stay Positive: Maintain a positive mindset and believe in your ability to achieve your goals. Stay motivated and celebrate small wins along the way to stay focused and on track.
